Benedictine Monastery Guided Tours
 
We are happy to inform participants at CADAAD 2016 that Officine Culturali has kindly agreed to offer at a discounted price guided tours (in English) of the Benedictine Monastery of San Nicolò l’Arena according to the following schedule:
  • Saturday, September 3, at 2 p.m.;
  • Sunday, September 4, at 2 p.m.;
  • Tuesday, September 6, at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.;
  • Thursday, September 8, at 10 a.m.
Participants exhibiting a badge or any other document certifying their registration to CADAAD 2016 will be able to book and take advantage of the guided tours during these days. However, each tour has a maximum number of participants (25 visitors max.). Once the maximum number has been reached, people will have to book the next available date or scheduled tour time slot. The cost for the tour for participants at CADAAD 2016 is 4€ (instead of 7€).

Fee waiver
 
Postgraduate bursaries
 
We are pleased to announce that we are able to offer a limited number of bursaries to PhD and postgraduate students presenting a paper at the conference. Bursaries will cover the cost of the registration fees. Recipients of bursaries must, however, cover all their own travel and accommodation costs. To qualify, you must be a current full-time research student at any university worldwide.
 
How to apply
 
Applications will be considered complete if two email messages have been received at cadaad2016@unict.it, before 30th April:
  1. A message from the applicant stating name, department, university, degree, field of research, and reason for applying for a bursary. In this email, please be sure to include proof of your student status (e.g. a letter from your department, or a scan of your student identification card or document);
  2. A letter of support from your academic supervisor, stating how they believe you would benefit from winning a bursary and attending the conference.
